We have a fully licenced bar which serves a range of beers and lagers, including a regularly changing guest ale, as well as wines, spirits, soft drinks and, in fact, anything else that you'd expect a licensed premises to sell.
Our regular beers are Badgers and Brakspears, and guest ale past visitors have included 6x, England Glory, Black Sheep, Fursty Ferret, Pickled Partridge as well as the local Loddon Ales. We also have draught lager (Fosters, Kronenburg and Budweiser), Guinness and cider.
Our drinks are keenly priced, with the average cost of a pint of beer being around the £2.45-£2.65 mark, a large glass of wine £3.65, and spirits £1.80.
The Bar is open Monday-Friday 5.30pm until 11.00pm; Saturday midday until 11.00pm; and Sunday midday until 6.00pm. We are closed on Christmas Day and open Boxing Day 12.00-3.00pm only. The Bar is also closed on Bank Holiday Mondays except on request.
We also have some very good food - at very reasonable prices - here at BCSC. As far as possible, our produce is sourced locally - we have a butcher and a greengrocer - and everything is home produced and very good value for money.
Bar snacks are available throughout the week. On Saturdays there is an extensive main meals menu, with hot and cold food, and a specials menu which changes weekly.
Breakfast Baps are available at the bar on Saturdays from 10am.
