The Club's function room, astroturf pitch and grounds are all available to both members and the public to hire.
Function Room
BSC has a separate function room which is ideal for parties, meetings and conferences.
Meetings
The room will accommodate 40 conference-style and 60 theatre-style with a break out area available. We can provide laptop computer link, wifi, TV and video, 5ft x 6ft projector screen, overhead projector, flip charts, paper, pens as required.
The room is available to hire on a daily, half-day or evening basis. Tea and coffee can be provided on arrival, and for mid-morning and afternoon breaks. Hot and cold buffet-style meals can be provided, if required, with all dietary requirements catered for.
Parties
Our function room can also be hired for parties and discos. The room will accommodate up to 80 people and you are free to decorate it as you wish. If you'd like food at your party, we can provide hot and cold buffets. An in-house disco is also available to hire, and bar extensions are available.
We are very sorry, but we do not allow 18th birthday parties.
All-weather Astroturf Pitch
The astro is marked out for hockey, junior hockey, and five-a-side football, and can be hired on an hourly basis. Changing facilities are available if required.
Grounds
Our 32 acres of playing fields include four tennis courts (hard court), two squash courts, rugby and football pitches and a cricket square, which are all available to hire. The grounds can be hired on a daily or half-daily basis, and can also be marked out to any permutation required, including pitches for rounders and softball, athletics tracks, etc. Changing facilities are available if required.
Marquee
A large marquee with fully licenced bar, is available to hire for functions during the whole of July each year. Ideal for wedding receptions and parties, we can provide our in-house disco or live band entertainment. Just call us to discuss your requirements.
Catering
Unfortunately, you cannot provide your own catering when you hire our facilities. Our in-house catering team are happy to cater for your event, working to your budget and with any dietary requirements.
